Mark your calendar for the 4th annual Ride For The Living – June 29 – July 2, 2017.
Ride For The Living is an annual fundraising event under the patronage of Chief Rabbi of Poland Michael Schudrich. The 55-mile bicycle ride from Auschwitz to JCC Krakow not only remembers Jewish history, but celebrates and supports the miraculous rebirth of Jewish life in Poland today.
Next year, the Ride will lead into the 27th edition of Krakow’s Jewish Culture Festival. The Festival began in 1988 and has become one of the largest Jewish Festivals in the world which features over 300 events in 7 days and is attended by 20,000 participants. Combining the Ride with the Festival will allow our participants to extend their stay in Krakow and attend the festival’s lectures, workshops, tours, concerts, DJ-parties, and the JCC’s 500+ person Shabbat dinner.
