§ 1

Personal data of portal users

Collection of personal data

Users’ personal data are processed in compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended) and the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of personal data services electronically (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 144, item 1204, as amended).

The User who has made his personal data available has the right to inspect his personal data and the right to verify, modify or delete it. Data collected automatically can not be modified or deleted.

Processing of personal data

As an administrator of personal data collected through the operation of the portal, we are entitled pursuant to art. 31 of the Act on the protection of personal data to entrust these data, by contract, to other entities.

The personal data of portal users can be processed, with their consent, in legally justified goals of the portal, including for the purpose of sending promotional and informational materials, offering products, market research and public opinion.

We use personal data:

to establish and shape the content of the contracts concluded by the portal, make changes to them and be able to resolve them;

to ensure that the content on our websites is presented in an optimal manner.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Providing information about portal users

The portal does not transfer and does not trade (does not sell, do not lend) the personal data of the user to other persons or institutions without the user’s consent.

The user’s personal data processed may be made available to authorized state authorities at their request, for the purposes of proceedings conducted by them or third parties on the basis of decisions of state authorities.

Personal data is kept until we achieve the purpose for which it was collected, the period of storage of documents imposed by law will expire, consent to the processing of the data, the application to stop processing, transfer of data or deletion of data will be withdrawn. We reserve the right to store some of the collected data in the form of an e-mail address or telephone number after processing, in order to prevent further processing of data.

We do not sell personal data for commercial purposes. We can, however, transfer data to other institutions and companies for the purpose of performing contracts, legal regulations or statutory tasks. In particular, this applies to: carriers, courier, postal, logistics, mailing services (newsletters, etc.), financial and personnel services, operation and maintenance of IT systems and databases. All entities to which we provide data meet the security requirements for the protection of personal data, which are required to be confirmed at the request of the Administrator.

We process data based on:

consent given by the data subject;

the necessity to perform concluded contracts;

fulfillment of duties resulting from legal regulations;

ensure protection of the vital interests of the data subject.

Policy regarding “cookie” files

The use of “cookies”

The portal uses the so-called mechanism cookies. The mechanism of cookies is not aimed at obtaining any information about users, and is used only to provide statistical data about user traffic and their use of the portal websites.

Disabling the cookie mechanism by the user

The user may object to the inclusion of cookies on his computer and may at any time disable the option of accepting cookies in his web browser, which will not cause any difficulties in using the portal.

Exclusion of liability in the scope of the cookie mechanism

The portal is not responsible for the use of the cookie mechanism on websites other than the portal pages available to users via links placed on the portal pages.

Changes to the privacy policy

In case of changing the current privacy policy, appropriate modifications to the above rules will be made available on the portal’s websites.

Each data subject has the right to access their data, rectify their data, delete their data, limit processing of their data, object to data processing, transfer their data, withdraw consent to data processing, unless it prevents the execution of tasks, to which we are obliged by law.

To exercise your rights, the data subject should contact the portal.

Each data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body involved in the protection of personal data.
